Honey Garlic Salmon
Makes 2 servings
Each serving contains: 2 proteins, 0 carbohydrates, 0 vegetables, 1 fat
Ingredients:
- 12 oz salmon, cut into 4 strips
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp warm water
- 1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ lemon, sliced
- Season salmon with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine honey, water, apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add salmon and pan-fry until half done. Add garlic, Cook until slightly browned. Add honey mixture and lemon slices. Sauce will reduce. When sauce is "sticky," move skillet to the oven until surface becomes slightly charred (this step is optional).
- Each serving gets 2 strips (6 oz) of salmon.
