Ginger Salmon

Ginger Salmon

Makes 2 servings
Each serving contains: 2 proteins, 0 carbohydrates, 0 vegetables, 0 fat

Ingredients:

  • 2 6 oz salmon filets, skinless
  • 3 Tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 3 Tbsp tamari sauce
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a 9x13 glass or ceramic baking dish, combine tamari sauce, grated ginger and honey. Mix well.
  3. Add salmon and turn to coat evenly; spoon ginger mixture evenly over filets.
  4. Pour 2 Tbsp water into baking dish around salmon.
  5. Bake 13-15 minutes, or until salmon is opaque throughout.
Serving Ideas:
  • Spoon remaining sauce left in baking dish over salmon
  • Serve over ½ cup brown rice with 2 cups steamed broccoli
