Homemade Turkey Chorizo

Homemade Turkey Chorizo

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 18 oz ground turkey
  • 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp ancho chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves
Directions:
  1. Heat oil in a large cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add meat, breaking up into small pieces.
  2. Season with vinegar and spices. Cook until browned / no longer pink in the middle, about 10 minutes.
